I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance, especially for newborn sessions. For newborns, contact me during your second trimester so we can reserve a tentative date around your due date. I accept a limited number of sessions monthly to ensure each family receives personalized attention, and my calendar fills quickly during fall and holiday seasons.

If you are looking for sleepy, curled-up newborn posed portraits; those happen before the baby has gotten used to the outside world, usually before two weeks. That said, we photograph babies of all ages; the older baby portraits still make great ones!

What if my baby comes early or late? We keep in contact with you as you get close to your due date, but we ask that all clients email or call within 24-48 hours of having your baby. Most babies are booked anywhere from 8-10 or even 12-14 days, depending on the baby’s weight. Letting us know if you are having your baby early allows room for rescheduling and adjusting.
